Suggestion: Thursday night field trip to Clara Street. These dudes have a huge amount of homebrew going. Would be good to see for those of you that haven't ever seen a mass amount of beer being made in a garage. on the bar note - amazing. would love to be a part of it.
figuring out a way to add a private label brew would be fun, but might distract from the original idea. there are a ton of places that could provide extra capacity in their brewing facilities (beach chalet, magnolia, 21st, anchor, triple rock, speakeasy, orgasmica, gordon bierch, to name a few) but getting a recipe scale for production that's not shit would be a next step. also, navigating the laws around brewing and distributing could be weird.
idea: get the guys from Clara street to brewmeister and partner with one of the breweries with a license to scale and distribute. how would you do it with the private label wine? probably pretty similar, right?
